Acronym mean­ing Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, the fed­eral agency that reg­u­lates those mate­ri­als.
Brady Bunch
a pejo­ra­tive refer­ring to the Brady Campaign to Increase Prevent Gun Violence by Preventing Law-​Abiding Citizens to have Firearms.

Defensive Gun Use
A term used when a per­son suc­cess­fully defends them­selves against an attack, home inva­sion, rob­bery, etc with a firearm. Typically it is used in sto­ries with shots fired and attacker dying, but would be appro­pri­ate if the mere pres­ence of the firearm is enough to dis­suade the crim­i­nal from his intended actions.

FFL
Acronym mean­ing Federal Firearms License, a license needed to be a licensed firearms dealer, to sell firearms as a busi­ness, in the U.S. Not needed if you are a pri­vate per­son sell­ing a firearm to trade up or not earn income.
